Hankook tyres are designed in South Korea but engineered for European roads at the brand's R&D centre in Hannover, Germany. The Ventus and Kinergy ranges have been picking up 'good buy' awards from press panels for years, and the OE list (Audi A3 and A4, BMW 3 Series, Mercedes A-Class, Tesla Model 3) is a reasonable indicator of how seriously the carmakers take them.
