Michelin invented the radial tyre in 1946 and hasn't stopped innovating since. Today its compounds are tuned for the kind of mixed-condition driving British roads throw at you — cold motorway commutes, wet B-roads, gritted A-roads in February — and the difference shows in independent test panels year after year.

We fit Michelins on everything from family SUVs to local trade vans. They aren't the cheapest tyre on the shelf, but for a driver putting on 12,000+ miles a year the cost-per-mile maths almost always lands in Michelin's favour by the time you'd otherwise be replacing a cheaper set.
